Goodbye 2020, Hello 2021!

Happy New Year, North Newstead Association family!

As we wrap up the unprecedented year of 2020 and reflect back on the challenging year that we all had, we can’t help but also look back and see all the good work we were able to accomplish. None of this would have been possible without the support of our friends, partners, and sponsors so THANK YOU for making our 2020 accomplishments possible.

In addition exceeding many of our goals in our normal programming, I also wanted to highlight a few of our accomplishments that we are especially proud of.

With the support of our Rental Assistance Sponsors, we were able to provide over $21,000 in rental assistance to both tenants of North Newstead Association properties and those of partner organizations. Through CARES funding and the generous support of Invest STL, we were able to provide over 700 bags of fresh, nutritious produce and meat to members of our communities who have been impacted by the Covid-19 pandemic. We’ve engaged with over ten neighborhood groups, and as one of our senior resident leaders would like to call it, brought them to the 21st Century by providing both access to technology and also the technical assistance needed to stay connected and engaged in a digital world.

We cannot thank you enough for your years of continuous support. We look forward to another exciting year at North Newstead Association! Thank you.
