Have you or someone you know ever experienced long wait times during emergencies, or worse, have been hung up on by 911? If so, join us for the next Community Conversation on Public Safety Alternatives in St. Louis on June 24th from 9am-12pm at The Hub (3000 E. Prairie Ave)

At this event, we’ll delve into the pressing topic of improving the Police Dispatch system. With ongoing changes addressing staff shortages and the need for quicker emergency responses, we aim to find effective solutions. Additionally, we will be having a conversation about the City’s budget and the equitable distribution of resources across our community, as well as opportunities for Community Policing and Alternative First Responders. Finally, we will be taking a first look at the *new* #Transforming911 report from Forward Through Ferguson!

This Community Conversation is not only an opportunity to learn about the 911 Dispatch system but also a chance to spark change through community-informed policy recommendations. We strongly encourage you to attend and share your valuable thoughts!
