The North Newstead Association’s mission is to support and serve North St. Louis communities and residents through quality, reliable housing, community building programs, and economic development opportunities.

Community Commitment: We are deeply connected with our community leaders, surrounding residents and neighborhoods. We commit to allowing their voices to guide our work, doing whatever it takes to help them thrive.

Advocacy: We commit to elevating and advocating for the concerns of community. We commit to having the majority of NNA’s Board represent residents from within our service area.

Integrity and Continuous Improvement: We commit to conducting all aspects of our operations with honesty, accountability, and transparency. We commit to continuously evaluating and evolving our programs to meet the needs of community.

Resourcefulness: We are deeply connected to other nonprofits, partner organizations, and other stakeholders in the St. Louis region. We are committed to building our network of resources to better connect residents with assistance and services, whenever available.
